Tailored to your needs
Pilates by Victoria
You only have one body. Learn to strengthen it from the inside out.
Improve your posture and balance, stabilize and align your spine and all of your joints, move with better efficiency and more grace, relieve pain, increase your flexibility, and forge a stronger connection between mind and body. This is what we do at Pilates by Victoria. Sessions are expertly tailored to you.
Pilates is a truly transformational form of conditioning. It meets you where you are in your body and in your journey through life. It improves coordination and helps prevent injuries. It allows you to do more in your life, whether that means staying as functional and pain-free as possible in your daily routine and work, or pursuing athletic goals such as running a marathon with enhanced performance, or merely continuing to do the things that you love. In addition, the breath work and mind-body connection greatly help with stress-reduction, and Pilates can even be an integral part of emotional trauma recovery.

What People are Saying

“The fitness culture in Los Angeles can be overwhelming, with so many differing values driving it and a whole array of instructors, studios, and modes of exercise to choose from. As an actor with a dance background, I appreciate doing Pilates with Victoria because I know I am taking on a discipline that does not just shift with fleeting trends or superficial results. Victoria's approach is all about substance, not mere show. Working with her builds a solid foundation rooted in the essential principles of pilates as well as a thorough understanding of anatomy, including the individual needs, quirks, and challenges of your own body. No matter where you're at physically, Victoria will help you grow and tailor her lessons to meet you right where you're at, as she brings all her years of expertise and concurrent study with her, in a down to earth and encouraging way.”

“I would highly recommend Victoria to anyone who wants to practice Pilates. I have been practicing Pilates with Victoria for more than 10 years, and my husband for about 6 years. Victoria has such a passion for Pilates and it shows through her teaching. She explains the purpose of various movements, what muscles should be focused on during the movements, and she demonstrates the right way to move to exercise safely and get the maximum benefit of the exercises. She is also incredibly patient and encouraging, motivating her students to enjoy Pilates. Whether you are a beginner or a veteran of Pilates, you deserve an instructor like Victoria. She is an expert who is supportive, caring, and a wonderful teacher.”

I've been a twice-weekly client for three years. What a godsend she has been. I've taken Pilates classes in the past, but having private Pilates sessions with Victoria is altogether different, and when I say different I mean her sessions are a second-by-second focus on my body and its various responses to the movements and breathing. My concentration is intense so the hour flies by (which has NEVER happened when exercising in the past). I'm 78 years old, and I'm fitter than ever! When I started with Victoria, I didn't really even know what my "core" was. I sure know now, my stomach is flat and I feel strong and fit.”

“Victoria has been a lifesaver! I was out of shape, knew little about Pilates and had increasing problems with an arthritic knee. Victoria was warm & welcoming from the beginning and focuses on guiding me through exercises that address my physical needs and any weaknesses I have. She is extremely attentive and ensures that I focus on my breath and on strengthening my core, the key tenets of Pilates. I feel empowered and healthier each time I leave. She's an expert on using the Pilates equipment and gently, safely and thoroughly guides me through its use. Victoria and Pilates have been an amazing discovery. I can't thank my friend Sue enough for recommending her to me.”
